From the Founder's Desk
I'm an engineer with experience spanning both academia and industry. I earned my Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras), India. My professional journey has given me a balanced perspective on engineering theory and real-world practice. I worked with the global heat transfer research team at SWEP International AB (a Dover company), and later served as a faculty member at the National Institute of Technology Goa (NIT Goa), where I taught and mentored undergraduate engineering students. Alongside these roles, I have remained actively engaged in research and innovation, and you can explore some of my published research articles here.
These experiences inspired me to establish Arith Works — a platform dedicated to solving engineering challenges and fostering meaningful learning.
The identity and logo of Arith Works evolved through extensive brainstorming, with valuable contributions from Dr. Ashwij Mayya. Numbers are at the heart of engineering. The word Arith is derived from arithmetic, reflecting numerical insight and quantitative reasoning, while Works represents a dynamic environment where ideas take shape and solutions are engineered.
At Arith Works, we bring together technical know-how and logical thinking to address practical engineering issues. Through concept-clarifying video lectures, roadmaps, and feasibility reports, we aspire to cultivate an 'engineer's mindset' in the society — qualification through a quantitative approach.
